As a Sr. Principal UX Designer, I played a key role in leading UX and UI innovations through the following process:
Gathering UI Requirements
- Participated in Sessions: Attended sessions to gather UI requirements from key multi-channel business units.
- Collaborative Approach: Ensured all stakeholder needs were taken into account, paving the way for a user-centered design process.
Design Strategy Meetings
- Led Design Strategy Meetings: Hosted sessions focused on emerging UI technologies to set project direction.
- Staying Ahead of Technological Advancements: Kept the team informed about the latest UI trends.
- Integrating Innovative Solutions: Ensured designs incorporated innovative solutions to enhance user experience and meet business goals.
Ensuring Brand Consistency
- Adhered to Brand Guidelines: Maintained alignment with established brand standards.
- Introduced New Products and Redesigns: Developed and redesigned products to match the brand’s vision and user expectations.
Usability and Accessibility
- Testing for Accessibility: Conducted regular accessibility testing to ensure compliance with WCAG A/AA/AAA levels.
- Incorporating Feedback: Iterated designs based on input from accessibility experts and users with disabilities.
- Ensuring Compatibility: Ensured all design elements were compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers (JAWS and Bobby readers).
